Right by the ski slopes in winter and mountain biking trails in summer, our hotel gives you access to the legendary 21 turns on the way up the Alpe d'Huez, made famous by the tour de France, and many kilometres of mountain biking trails. This iconic peak and other passes in the Oisans massif are reserves for cyclists, with motor vehicles denied access on certain days and times in summer.
Amateur trekkers will have plenty to enjoy with 250 km of marked trails and the discovery of 12 high-altitude emerald-coloured lakes, adding even more to the beauty of the landscape. You can also take the Grandes Rousses ski- lift to admire Pic Blanc, the high point of the resort at an altitude of 3,330 m. This peak enjoys exceptional panoramic views over the Ecrins national park, and other famous peaks such as La Meije, La Barre des Ecrins, Les Aiguilles d’Arves, La Chaîne de Belledonne and Mont-Blanc.
For visitors looking to meet local residents and find out more about their way of life, the Route des Savoir-Faire de l’Oisans will take you on a journey to meet craftsmen, artisans, farmers and producers.
